To all current and perspective clients:
With the current Coronavirus situation, Chester Psychotherapy Group would like to advise all our clients that we are taking the situation very seriously. As the CDC guidelines and State of NJ regulations are constantly changing, we are updating our procedures and planning staffing for our office in order to continue to service and treat our clients while keeping all our staff and clients safe.
As of June 1, 2021, we will be expanding our services and hours to those clients that would like to be seen in person, face to face with their clinician. We will continue to offer virtual telehealth mental health sessions for anyone who would like to continue to utilize this service. We are trying to limit the number of therapists in the office at any one time so there is not a large need for patient overlap in the waiting room. For this reason, you may be asked to see you therapist on a different day or time then you previously did prior to Covid changes. For us to provide you with a safe environment, we will be following some new procedures for the safety of our staff and clients.
The following procedures will be implemented for your safety:
1. Our staff have all been fully vaccinated with the Covid-19 vaccine, however we still continue to wear our masks for the comfort and safety of those clients who have not yet been vaccinated, and/or still feel more comfortable with us wearing a mask.
2. We will be asking you some questions as to your health and will be requesting that we take your temperature using a non-contact thermometer to make sure you are not running a fever.
3. We will be requiring you to wear a mask to your visit as per the CDC guidelines and the recommendations of our governor.
4. We will be asking that you use the hand sanitizer provided by our office upon entering the office.
5. We will be asking that you be patient with us as we will be needing a few more minutes between clients to sterilize the office for your safety.
6. We will ask that you pay your co-pay or co-insurance when you first come in for your visit before you meet with the therapist. If you would like us to keep your credit card information on file, we can do so in a confidential way so you will not have to worry about your payment.
7. We will to the best of our ability answer any questions you may have concerning our safety procedures.
Because we are in an unchartered territory for those clients that are out-of-network and normally bring us their payment checks from their insurance company we are now requiring that you please provide a credit card on file to pay us for those checks.
Our goal at the Chester Psychotherapy Group is to provide you with a safe and clean environment for you and your family. We understand that this is a difficult time and want you to feel safe while meeting with our clinicians. If there is anything that we can do to help you, please let us know.
Thank you all in advance for your cooperation, assistance, and support while we all work to get through this difficult time.
Best Regards,
Paul Spergel
